Sunshine Coast's best kept secret! Shop is tucked in a quiet corner in the Sunshine Plaza (Fresh Food Hall), so not many people know about it. But the food is awesome! It's as authentic as you can get here in Australia, with Japanese rice bowls starting from only $7.90 (it's enough to fill you up!). On first glance, you wouldn't notice they serve sushi as well. But look out for the sushi menu on the counter, they're some of the most mouth-watering sushi I've seen .. taste as beautiful as they look! The sushis are hand-rolled by the sushi chef fresh to your order, and it's also great value with prices starting from $2.20! Don't miss the scrumptious Gyoza (Japanese Dumplings) or Takoyaki (Octopus Balls)! Hikaru is a great place to go for the best sushi and Japanese rice bowls (Donburi) on the Sunshine Coast, without hurting your pocket.
