This is quite seriously my favorite Malaysian restaurant in Sydney, fresh, great intricate flavours, good char, good clean clear spices. I love it.
I am married to a Malay-Indian lass and her entire family and I are always in search of authentic wonderful Malaysian food. We found it at Serai, we have tried Kopitiam, MakMar, Alices etc and they do not come close to this restaurant. Serai has only been open for 6 months or so and in that time we have dined there 12 times, which is considerable given that we have a 13 month old baby.
